My family has always been very patriotic. We always stand, remove our hats, and shed tears when the National Anthem is played. I was so happy to be home this year for the Fourth. And, yes, I cried when the Flag passed us by.
We had great seats on the parade route. Daddy has friends who live right on it and they have a big breakfast before the parade even begins. Even Mayzee got in on the celebration!
